According to Vietnamese legend, its was descending dragons which caused the earth to shatter and the thousands of islets and islands to form. Recognized by UNESCO as a world treasure, Ha Long Bay is a compendium of over 3,000 magnificent islets and islands resting in an emerald green sea in the waters of he Gulf of Tonkin. Beyond doubt, Ha Long Bay in one of the scenic wonders of the world. The recently improved highway from Hanoi to Ha Long Bay makes the a trip to the bay a day excursion from Hanoi rather than a mandatory overnight stay; an overnight stay is still possible or those wishing to spend more time at Ha Long Bay.

Vehicle Transportation: Ground transportation is the only realistic way to reach Bai Chay, the Gateway to Ha Long Bay. The trip is approximately 2.5 hours on a newly rebuilt roadway.

Day 1 : Morning departure for Bai Chay via vehicle. Arrive Ha Long Bay and board your private ocean going vessel for a five-hour cruise among the spectacular 3,000 islets and islands that comprise this beautiful bay. Lunch serve on board your ocean going vessel. Return to Bai Chay and return to Hanoi via vehicle. Transfer to hotel. Free evening.
