Day 1 Depart Los Angeles International Airport at 12:00 noon on Asiana Airlines flight OZ-201 for Seoul, Korea.
Day 2 Arrive Seoul at 6:30 pm and connect with Asiana Airlines flight OZ-361 for Hanoi. Arrive Hanoi at 11:50 pm. Clear customs and immigration, meet guide and driver and transfer to your hotel. Free
evening.
Day 3 Morning check out and transfer to Hue’s Phu Bai Airport to connect with your flight to Hanoi. Arrive Hanoi, meet guide and driver and transfer to your hotel. Balance of the day Hanoi city tour:
Hoan Kiem Lake (Lake of the Restored Sword), the The Huc (Rising Sun) Bridge, the Ngoc Son Temple (dedicated to national hero Tran Hung Dao, La To, saint of physicians, and scholar Van Xuong), the
arts gallery across from the The Huc Bridge and view Tortoise Pagoda on Hoan Kiem Lake. Note: Hoan Kiem lake is the emotional vortex of Hanoi. One-hour cyclo tour of the 36-streets and the areas
around the 36-streets. Return to your hotel via cyclo. Free evening.
Day 4 All day Hanoi city tour: St. Joseph’s Cathedral (1886), Maison Central (or Hoa Lo, the Furnace Prison AKA the Hanoi Hilton), Ba Dinh Square: the One-Pillar Pagoda (Chua Mot Cot, circa 1049),
Dien Huu Pagoda, Ho Chi Minh House-on-Stilts, Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum; Temple of Literature (Den Van Mieu, circa 1070, Vietnam’s first national university). Return to hotel. Free evening.
Day 5 Mid-morning check out and departure for Bai Chay via vehicle, stopping at points of interest to the tour group en route. Arrive Ha Long Bay and transfer to your hotel. Afternoon Bai Chay
sightseeing tour followed by a free evening to stroll the streets of the Gateway to Ha Long Bay.
Day 6 8:00 boarding of your private ocean going vessel for a eight-hour cruise
among the spectacular 3,000 islets and islands that comprise this beautiful bay and World UNESCO Site. Lunch served on board your ocean going vessel. Return to Bai Chay and return to Hanoi via
vehicle. Transfer to hotel. Free evening.
Note: Sapa Trip may vary due to four-times per week train schedule.
Day 7 Free day until check out of your hotel at 8:30 pm and transfer to the Hanoi Railway Station to board the Victoria Express Train departing at 9:30 pm for Sapa. Accommodations include private
2-berth state room.
Day 8 Arrive Lao Cai on the Chinese border at 7:30 am. Meet guide and driver and transfer to Sapa. Transfer to your hotel. Balance of the day walking tour of town of Sapa and the areas surrounding
Sapa. Free evening.
Day 9 All day journey into the areas surrounding Sapa to visit villages of the ethnic minorities and the spectacular flora and fauna which abounds. Return to Sapa. Free evening.
Day 10 Check out of hotel and transfer to Lao Cai to connect with the Victoria Express Train returning to Hanoi at 10:20 am.
Day 11 Arrive Hanoi. Meet guide and driver and transfer to your hotel. Free day until transfer to the airport to connect with your returning flight home.
Day 12 Board your returning Asiana Airlines flight home. Arrive Los Angeles the same day at 12:00 noon.
