Day 1 Depart Los Angeles International Airport on Asiana Airlines flight OZ-201 for Seoul, Korea.
Day 2 Arrive Seoul, Korea at 6:30 pm and connect with Asiana Airlines flight OZ-737 departing for
Saigon at 7:20 pm. Arrive Saigon at 11:20 pm. Clear customs and immigration, meet guide and transfer
to your hotel.
Day 3 About 10 am all day Saigon city tour including: the
fantastically ornate Hotel de Ville serves as Saigon 's city hall,
the turn of the century Opera House, Dong Khoi Street shopping area
of the French colonial period and of today, Notre Dame Catheral
(1880) and the spectacular turn-of-the century Colonial French Post
Office, street side views of the historic Continental, Rex and
Majestic Hotels and Reunification Palace, a walking tour of Ben
Thanh Market and the Sri Mariamman ( Hindu) Temple. Return to your
hotel for a free evening.
Day 4 Morning excusion to the northern gateway to the Mekong Delta,
the city of My tho, Proceed south through Long An Province to
My Tho. Take a brief city tour and transfer to the My tho
Docks to board your sampan to an island in the middle of the Song My
Tho river, the northernmost distributary river of Mekong's
five-major distributary rivers.Tour the island, its hamlets and
tropical fruit orchards on foot. Return to My tho via sampan. Return
to Saigon by vehicle for a free balance of the day.
Day 5 Morning check out at 9:45 am and transfer to Saigon's Tan
Son Nhut airport to connect with VN-322 departing for Danang at
11:30 am and arriving at 12:40 pm. Meet guide and driver and proceed
on a brief Danang city tour
followed by a visit to the Cham Museum, formerly the Ecole Francaise d’Extreme Orient. The museum contains exquisite limestone carvings from the vanquished Kingdom of Champa [4th century to 18th
century], a Hindu kingdom which inhabited the central coastal littoral prior to the march of the Vietnamese nation south. The carvings contain examples of Hindu altars, lingas, garudas, ganeshas and
representations of Shiva, Brahma and Vishnu. Continue on to the Furama Resort at China Beach for an optional lunch and a stroll on the famous beach.
Continue to Hoi An, just south of Danang and check in your hotel. Free
evening.
Day 6 . All day walking and cyclo tour of this ancient city Hoi An,
which Marco Polo noted in his 13th-Century journals on his visit to
China; Hoian, A UNESCO site, contains over 800-structures of historical
interest including Japanese covered bridges, ancient temples for various parts of China and Chinese merchant houses. Free evening.
Day 7 9 am check out and process to Hue via vehicle. Stop at the towering Hai Van Pass (Pass of the Ocean Clouds) enroute
for a spectacular view of Vietnam's Central Coastal Littoral. Arrive
Hue and check in your hotel. All afternoon tour of the Forbidden
Purple City, a smaller replica of China's Forbidden City and a
UNESCO site. Tour of the former Royal Citadel including: the Flag
Tower, the 9-Holy Cannons, the Ngo Mon (Noontime Gate) and Great
Rites Court, Palace of Supreme Harmony, Halls of the Mandarins, the
Bronze Urns, Ham Lien Pavalion, the Nine Dynastic Urns, the Nguyen
Dynastic Temple and Thai Binh Reading Room. Return to your
hotel for a free evening.
Day 8 Morning dragon boat trip to the Thien Mu
Pagoda (Heavenly Mother), symbol of the City of Hue on the bank of
Perfume River. Proceed vehicle to the Valley of the Royal Tombs to
visit the tombs of Khai Dinh and the tombs of Tu Duc. Return to Hue
for a Hue city tour including: ancient downtown Hue and the Central
Market. Return to your hotel for a free evening.
Day 9 Free morning until 10 am check out and transfer to
Hue's Phu Bai airport to connect with Vietnam Airlines flight to
Hanoi at 12:05 pm (noon) and arriving at 1:15 pm. Meet guide and driver and transfer to your hotel. Late afternoon/early evening visit to Hoan Kiem Lake (Lake of
the Restored Sword), the The Huc (Rising Sun) Bridge the Ngoc Son Temple (dedicated to national hero Tran Hung Dao, La To, saint of physicians and the scholar Van Xuong), Tortoise Pagoda in Hoan Kiem
Lake, the arts gallery across from the The Huc (Rising Sun) Bridge. This lake area is the emotional vortex of Hanoi and Vietnam. Return to hotel. Free evening.
Day 10 All day Hanoi city tour including a walking tour: the vast and
chaotic Dong Xuan market in Hanoi’s Ancient Quarter, a walking tour
of Ancient Quarter followed by afternoon visits to St. Joseph's Cathedral 1886), Ba Dinh Square: One-Pillar Pagoda (Chua Mot Cot, circa 1049, an architectural masterpiece), Dien Huu
Pagoda and Temple of Literature (Den Van Mieu, circa 1070), Vietnam’s first national university
followed by a cyclo ride to return to your hotel. Free evening.

Day 11 Morning departure for Ha Long Bay via vehicle. Arrive Halong
city and board your private ocean going vessel for a four-hour cruise to a world UNESCO site of 3,000 magical islets and islands dotting
an emerald colored sea. Lunch served on board ( commonly is seafood). Return to Bai Chay and return to Hanoi. Free evening.
Day 12 7:15 am check out and transfer to Hanoi’s Noi Bai Airport to
connect with Vietnam airlines flight VN-869 departing for Luang
Prabang at 9:15 am and arriving at 10:10 am. Clear customs and immigration, meet guide and transfer to your
hotel. Afternoon visit of Laos National Museum and the former Palace
of the Laos Royal family. Free evening/
Day 13 Morning followed by visits to the extensive ancient wats spread across the ancient capital of Laos: Wat Xieng [1560], Wat Wisunaiat
[1513], Wat Aham and Wat Si Manhathat [1548]. Late afternoon climb to the top of Phusi Hill for a spectacular view of the Luang River Valley. Return to hotel.
Free evening.
Day 14 Morning transfer to the Mekong River to board your private rivercraft for a visit up river to the ancient Pac Ou caves. Sack lunch served at the caves. Tour the caves with hundreds of different
representations of the Buddha. Return to Luang Prabang via rivercraft. Return to hotel. Free evening.
Day 15 Morning check out and transfer to the Luang Prabang airport to connect with VN-869 departing for
Siem Reap, Cambodia at 10:50 am and arriving at 12:15 pm. Meet guide and exit customs and immigration, meet guide and
transfer to your hotel. Afternoon familarization tour of larger and
small circuits of the grandest of all ruins, Angkor Wat, a world UNESCO site. Return to hotel, free evening.
Day 16 All day tour of the ruins of Angkor Wat: Angkor Thom and the Southern Gate of Bayon, the temples of Ta Prohm, Ta Keo, Chau Saytevada, Thommnoun, Bontey Kdei, Preh Khan, Neak Poan, Sras Srang
and Kravann. Return to hotel for lunch during the day. Free evening.
Day 17 All day visits to temples of interest to the tour group.
(limit in Big and Small circuits). Free evening until late check out
at 9:15 pm and transfer to airport to connect with Asiana Airlines
flight OZ-737 departing for Seoul at 11:55 pm.
Day 18 Arrive Seoul at 7:10 am. At the option of the tour group
check into a hotel provided by Asiana Airlines or a downtown Seoul
tour with a free lunch. Free day until 2:00 pm and check in for OZ-202 departing for Los Angeles at 4:30 pm. Arrive Los Angeles at 1:30 am the same day.
